Unweaned brown capuchin (cebus apella)

On March 10th 2007, our care center gave shelter to a new guest: an unweaned brown capuchin (Cebus appella).

The capuchin's mother, like the one of the baby ant-eater, was probaby hunted dead.
Found in a street of Cayenne suburb, this very young primate was pretty much in a bad shape. Today, baby capuchin feels a lot better but we must stay vigilant as unweaned wild mammals are particularly fragile.
